This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to evaluate, implement and monitor high risk trade waste discharge approvals.

This unit applies to those working as trade waste officers or inspectors with the responsibility for managing applications and approvals for high risk liquid trade waste discharges to wastewater collection systems. Those undertaking this unit would work autonomously while performing sophisticated tasks in a range of familiar contexts.
